Problem:
ASAM needed a scalable way to communicate diverse educational and promotional content including coursework and webinars, industry news and publications.
In addition, the content team considered clarity, encouraging ongoing practitioner engagement, increasing awareness of learning opportunities and textbook sales, and reinforcing the value of the newsletter as a member benefit.

Developed a scalable, responsive email system that organized educational resources, industry updates, webinars, and promotional content into clear, actionable content blocks.
My strategic design approach focused on improving engagement, supporting ongoing coursework participation, increasing visibility for publications and textbook offerings, and maintaining consistent performance across devices and email clients. Contributed to a 22% increase in click-through engagement across key newsletter campaigns.
I used modular components and flexible content blocks to accommodate news, courses, sponsor ad space, and webinars, creating a scalable, responsive system that maintains clarity, hierarchy, and consistency across desktop and mobile.
I created variations with adaptable hero image layouts, allowing for different visual entry points while maintaining a consistent and responsive structure across devices.
Expanded the desktop experience with an accessibility-focused exploration, introducing higher-contrast layouts, simplified content structure, and improved readability to support a wider range of users. These variations were informed by A/B testing in collaboration with the content team to improve engagement and ensure more consistent performance across email clients and browsers.
